Chief Marketing Officer

Tim Baran is the Chief Marketing Officer for Good2BSocial. Tim started his legal career at the Third Circuit Court of Appeals where he spent five years learning all things legal research followed by two years at Cardozo Law School and culminating in a decade as Library Director at the law firm of Anderson Kill. He left in 2008 to build a continuing legal education consultancy and exercise his entrepreneurial and digital marketing chops. He blithely wrapped that up three years later to join Rocket Matter, a legal software company, as the Content Director and Editor of the Legal Productivity blog.

Tim speaks nationally on how to use marketing strategies and technology to manage a law practice, grow revenue, and increase profits. He is all about community and building connections and relationships and enjoys engaging and learning from lawyers and legal professionals about the profession, where it’s headed, and how to better serve clients. He’s passionate about access to justice and volunteers his time and service to work on building bridges to legal services for those who can least afford it.

Tim is the author of several publications including The Lawyers’ Guide to Evernote. He was named to the 2016 Fastcase 50 honoring the law’s smartest, most courageous innovators, techies, visionaries, and leaders.
