Stewart Hirsch is a business development and executive coach and consultant, who also designs, delivers, facilitates, moderates or participates in business development workshops at law firms, as well as national/regional conferences for lawyers. Stewart was picked as the Top Business Development Coach in the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Reader Rankings for 2020, 2019 and 2017.
He has designed and delivered workshops to law firms on topics range from basic networking to “Business Plan Boot Camp,” “Effective Cross-Marketing,” “Pitching to Diverse Clients”, “Presence for Legal Executives,” and “Implicit Gender Bias and Business Development”. He has also appeared as a guest on podcasts and webinars.
His leadership coaching for firm leaders and Fortune 500 women General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel helps them enhance critical strategic thinking and leadership competencies and advance professionally.
Stewart has published articles for the ABA and ALA on reducing unconscious gender bias for the ABA, and has written numerous blogs and articles addressing building long-term trusted advisor relationships, developing business and enhancing leadership acumen.
From 1980 to 2001, Stewart practiced law in firms and in-house. He worked in several capacities in the legal departments of companies including TJX, Staples, Welch’s, Cabot Creamery and several Dun & Bradstreet subsidiaries. Prior to his in-house career, Stewart practiced law at both large and boutique firms in Boston.
