David L. Brown
David L. Brown is the senior content consultant of Good2bSocial. He works closely with clients to create high-quality digital content and provides editorial guidance for the Good2bSocial team. A veteran journalist and media executive, David has spent nearly two decades producing engaging editorial content for legal audiences around the globe.
Prior to joining Good2bSocial, he was the vice president and editor in chief at ALM Media, where he directed digital and print content across the company’s network of legal media brands. He has also served as editor in chief of The National Law Journal and editor in chief of Legal Times in Washington, D.C. He led both publications to dozens of awards for editorial excellence and spearheaded their transformation from weekly print newspapers to daily digital news providers. Before that, he was executive editor of The American Lawyer magazine, and helped develop signature surveys and long-form content for and about the nation’s law firms.
Prior to his senior editing roles, David was a writer and editor at news publications in the San Francisco Bay Area, covering a wide range of legal and public policy issues. He has an M.A. from the Public Affairs Reporting program at University of Illinois-Springfield and a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University.
