Walter “Jeff” Storey
Jeff Storey has more than 40 years of experience as a writer, reporter and editor. From May 2005 until January 2017, he was the executive editor of the New York Law Journal, where he oversaw daily news coverage, achieving significant improvements in depth and presentation. Before that he took a mid-career break to earn a law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and to work in the appeals unit of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for several years. He held numerous positions—including managing editor and acting editor, business editor and editorial page editor at the daily Times Herald-Record in the Hudson Valley-Catskills region. In addition to his law degree, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and has an M.A. in journalism from Penn State University.
